In his research project, historian Dr. David Dee looks at a topic that has received less attention so far: the importance of boxing for immigrants and minorities in Great Britain. In addition to the question of how boxing contributed to successful integration, the historian also asks to what extent boxing provided financial security for athletes and what role racism and discrimination played. At the end of the video documentary, David Dee talks in a general interview about the challenges of the project, his fascination for the topic as well as the surprising aspects of the work.

as the author of »Deutscher Meister« (https://hoffmann-und-campe.de/products/253-deutscher-meister), a prizewinning novel about the defense artist Johann Rukelie Trollmann (https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/62355), I highly appreciate your work and would like to listen to your podcasts, but I need to download them. Can you please make that possible?
Best regards
